Civic Pride Awards
What would Poynton be without its community?
This year Town Mayor, Cllr Sarah-Jane Gilmore, will award the eleventh Town Awards to members of our community.
Last year's winners are pictured on the left. Details of why they won their well-deserved awards can be found here.
"These awards seek to recognise those who give their time to benefit our community from the individual volunteers to the community organisations themselves.
The awards also seek out the younger members of the community who have already embarked on a life of giving something back.
You play a key role in these awards. We need you to nominate individuals who you think have Civic Pride and deserve recognition.
Thank you for supporting your community".
