The Shed is normally open on the following days.

Tuesday 10am – 2pm
Wednesday 10am – 2pm
Friday 11.00am – 2pm

Since 2015 Poynton Men in Sheds has gone from strength to strength, combating loneliness, fighting social isolation, sharing new skills as well as involvement in community projects, such as the Remembrance Day Silhouette Soldiers, a school sensory garden, Santa’s new sleigh and of course the refurbished railway truck on Poynton Green. Poynton Men in Sheds now has around 30 members with 20 on a waiting list wanting to join.

To accommodate new members, a major extension to the workshop is being carried out with assistance from The Centre Trustees.

You are welcome to pop-in and meet the group for a chat, take refreshments and read a newspaper or get involved in community projects, make your own toys and games (using Men in Sheds tools), learn new skills and make new friends.

Costs: £3 per session, £4 for two sessions or £5 for three sessions per week.
