From the Higher Poynton Summerfest, Party in the Park, Poynton Show to Civic Sunday, Remembrance Sunday, the Poynton Christmas Fest and a 10K run, there's something for everyone in Poynton over the course of the year.
Cheshire East Council Countryside Rangers run varied events throughout the year, including holiday activities clubs. Several of these are are close by or within easy travelling distance. A full list of the ranger events can be found here.
Health & Wellbeing Fair for Older People - NEW DATE - Sat 29th Sept - 9am - noon
Poynton Town Council will once again be working in partnership with the Patient Participation Groups and the event will coincide with the first flu jab clinic of the season.
There will be a variety of groups and organisations who support older people in our community attending.
It’s a great opportunity to have a chat or get information from organisations such as Age UK Cheshire East, British Red Cross, The Carers Hub, etc. for you and your family, as well as getting advice on preparing well for winter! The event is FREE.
Organisations and groups who support older people that would like to take a table can apply by completing an application, which can be downloaded here as a Word document.

The 46th Annual Poynton charity bonfire and spectacular fireworks display takes place on Saturday, 3rd November 2018 at Poynton Park. Gates gates open at 5:30pm. More details at: www.poyntonroundtable.co.uk/bonfire.html
Remembrance Day - Parade and Service - 11th November 2018
The parade starts at 9.30am from the Civic Centre car park and the service at St George's Church is at 10am until approximately 11.30am.

This popular community event has always offered something for all the family. In previous years this has included a bird of prey display, pony rides, a novelty pet dog competition, the Poynton Youth Brass Band and other live bands, a Town Crier, the Adlington Morris Men, market stalls selling local produce, gifts and plants, a tombola, ferret racing, children’s attractions, a clown, and plenty more besides.
