Annual Accounts

2018/2019 - Exercise of public rights and publication of unaudited Annual Governance and Accountability Return - accounts for the year ended 31st March 2019

Residents have the right to inspect the Town Council’s accounting records. Each year, the Annual Governance and Accounting Return (AGAR) needs to be reviewed by the external auditor (PKF Littlejohn LLP), appointed by Smaller Authorities’ Audit Appointments Ltd. The unaudited AGAR is published HERE with the formal notice with the statement setting out details of electors’ rights, the auditor and inspection. As it has yet to be reviewed by the appointed auditor, it is subject to change as a result of that review.

Any person interested has the right to inspect and make copies of the accounting records for the financial year to which the audit relates and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers, receipts and other documents relating to those records must be made available for inspection. These documents are available by appointment to Haf Barlow, Town Clerk, from 18th June 2019 to 29th July 2019.
