Bed and Breakfast
Several Poynton businesses have asked if we are aware of any bed and breakfast accommodation in the village or in the immediate surrounding area. Whether it is to enjoy the village shops and restaurants, visit the Anson Museum or to enjoy the countryside, there is growing interest in Poynton's visitor economy. If any residents are interested in providing approved bed and breakfast accommodation, within walking distance of the village, please let the Town Council’s Operations Manager, Richard Holland know. T. 01625 872238, e-mail email@example.com. This could be a business opportunity for someone with some spare room, who is able to become suitably registered, fill a gap in the market and make some money at the same time.
Twinning Association of Poynton (TAP)
The Association is always looking for new members, and for suggestions of additional overseas twinning partners. For further information please contact the TAP secretary, Glenys Parry-Jones, T. 01625 859214, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org

Home Services Scheme
Due to the success of this Scheme, which offers a range of mainly fixed price home services provided by reliable local contractors, the Town Council is looking to increase its contractor database. We are particularly interested in hearing from reputable domestic cleaning contractors. Potential suppliers would be subject to a satisfactory DBS check, show evidence of Public Liability Insurance and sign a basic service level agreement. For further information on the Scheme, or to express an interest in becoming a registered contractor, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or phone her on 01625 872238
Time Out Café
There are many older members of our community who are isolated, spend days without seeing or speaking to anyone, and who are not confident to venture out alone.
Time out Café is a new Town Council initiative and is now open every Friday between 2pm and 4pm at Poynton Civic Hall. Do come along and join us, you will be guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome, refreshments and a chat. Meet up with friends, access information on local services, organisations and groups, and have your say on how this community facility could develop further, and what social or creative events we could host in the future. For further information please contact email@example.com or phone her on 01625 872238.
