Poynton And Adlington August Newsletter

 

Vehicle and Property Crime

In the early hours of 3rd August a suspected stolen van was stopped by Officers on London Road North. The driver was subsequently arrested for theft and driving whilst disqualified.

Overnight 4th-5th August a red Honda motorbike was stolen from the grounds of Coppice House. IML-145286

Around 2.20am on 7th August a business premises was broken into on London Road South. Access was gained by damaging a rear door and cash was stolen. IML-147068

Between 24-26th August a business on Second Avenue, Adlington was broken into. An untidy search was made of the unit, at this time it is not believed that anything was stolen. IML-165929.

Over the month two drivers have been arrested under suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of alcohol. A further driver was arrested under suspicion of driving whilst unfit due to testing positive for a controlled substance on a roadside drug wipe.

4 vehicles were also seized in the area due to having no insurance.
