Community News

In the early hours of 12th May a vehicle was stopped on Chester Road during a routine stop check by Crime Car Officers. After a search of the vehicle, the male driver was subsequently arrested for possession with intent to supply a controlled drug.

Over the month in Poynton 5 drivers were arrested for Drug Driving, 1 driver arrested for drink driving and 2 vehicles were seized from our roads for no insur

 

Property and Vehicle Crime


Overnight 6th-7th May eggs were thrown at a property and a vehicle on Oakfield Road. Do you know who the offenders were? Incident 216 7/5/17.

Around 2.55am 2 offenders were caught on camera attempting to break into a property on Venture Way. Incident 243 08/05/17. Around the same time 2 offenders were disturbed trying to break into a property on Clifford Road.

Overnight 7th-8th May items were stolen from a vehicle parked on Brookfield Avenue.

Early hours of 21st May a vehicle was stopped on Park Lane and the driver arrested for possession of a Class A drug

Overnight 24th-25th a shed has been broken into on Green Lane and a lawn mower stolen. Incident 289 25/05/17

Between 28th – 30th May a burglary occurred at a property on London Road North. Entry was gained by smashing a glass door, jewelry and cash was stolen from the address. Incident 795 30/05/17.
