Christmas Fest 2018

This year's Fest was a great success!

Festive music, street entertainment, late night shopping, mulled wine, music, choirs and of course Santa - pictured with Town Mayor Cllr Sarah-Jane Gilmore.

Poynton Poppies

The street poppies, made by Poynton Men in Sheds last year, were positioned along the main routes and gateways in Poynton and on noticeboards.

Poynton Men in Sheds Soldiers

The group made life-size Silhouette Soldiers to commemorate the end of the First World War.

Clickety Click made the poppies on the soldiers.

A Twinning Association of Poynton delegation visited Haybes to join their community commemorating the end of the First World War.

We have mobility scooters & wheelchairs hirable at a small charge. Contact the Civic Hall on 01625 872238 for a free lesson and a 'test drive'. More details.

A register of interests is maintained for all members and co-opted members of the Town Council, and this can be viewed by members of the public during normal opening hours of the Civic Hall (9am to 5pm daily, except Fridays, 9am to 4.30pm).


Poynton Town Councillors' Register of Interest Forms

In line with the Code of Conduct our Councillors need to register and declare any pecuniary (i.e. financial) and non-pecuniary interests - see paragraph B on p.3 of the Code of Conduct for details. To see scanned copies of the Councillors' individual Registers of Interests please click HERE. The original copies have been signed, but signatures have been removed from the copies in the interests of security. Hard copies of the Registers can be viewed at the Civic Hall during office hours.
