Poynton - Social Activities

Are you a community group in Poynton? Do you run activities or sessions for any age? Are you a sports club, art, drama or music group or provide leisure activities? If you are, and you are interested in being listed in the Town Council Directory, all you need to do is complete the Social Activities – contact us form here.

Tuesdays 10am – 2pm
Wednesdays 10am – 2pm
Fridays 12.30pm – 3pm

Men in Sheds group meet in their dedicated workshop and rest area at the Poynton Community Centre.

They are involved in several community projects and have made, for example, bird boxes and BBQ candle holders and have refurbished an old railway truck.

You are welcome to pop-in and meet the group for a chat, take refreshments and read a newspaper or get involved in community projects, make your own toys and games (using Men in Sheds tools), learn new skills, make new friends and go on outings.

Costs: £3 per session, £4 for two sessions or £5 for three sessions per week.
